| Hello Everyone...this is Taeyang ^^
Today is May 18th. this day marks my 20th birthday.
Everybody says that their 20th birthday is a significant one...as for me, i think it is all the more significant...
Ever since i was little i've dreamt of being a singer...and i say this birthday is significant because it is this year that i can officially say that i am a singer
and of course this has happened in thanks to all your love and support...you've made this day come
--As i think about it...i've received so much love and support and i feel the thanks that i should be giving in return has not been given with full impact.
this is why today...on my birthday, i would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for everything. i wanted to relay this message sincerly and genuinely.
Wow...now i'm 20 years old! i feel like i'm becoming an adult~^^
with my age and thoughts..i promise to be a more "cool" and promising Taeyang, or at least i shall try and make that effort.
as i look back on everything that has happened in my past up til today...i realize it's been a wild and crazy ride
but i realize my stability has come from your never-ending/changing love and trust...
it is because of your strength that i as well have been able to continue on dreaming/living my dreams and continue,
to be the best singer that i can be...and no matter how crazy the journey may be, i will continue at it.
I will pray that every may 18th...i am able to celebrate my birthday with you all then...^^

วันนี้วันที่ 18 พฤษภาคม วันนี้เป็นวันเกิดปีที่ 20 ของผม
ทุกคนบอกกันว่า วันเปิดปีที่ 20 เป็นวันที่สำคัญอีกวัน...ผมก็เหมือนกัน ผมคิดว่ามันยิ่งกว่าสำคัญซะอีก
ตั้งแต่เด็ก ผมฝันอยากจะเป็นนักร้อง และที่ผมบอกว่าวันเปิดปีนี้สำคัญก็เพราะปีนี้ ผมสามารถพูดได้อย่างเป็นทางการแล้วว่า ผมได้เป็นนักร้องคนหนึ่งแล้ว
และแน่นอน ต้องขอบคุณเพราะสิ่งนี้เกิดขึ้นได้เนื่องจากความรักและการสนับสนุนของพวกคุณ พวกคุณทำให้มันเป็นจริงขึ้นมาได้
นี่เป็นเหตุผลว่าทำไมวันนี้...วันเกิดของผม ผมต้องการที่จะขอบคุณทุกๆคนจากก้นบึ้งของหัวใจสำหรับทุกๆอย่าง ผมต้องการที่จะถ่ายทอดข้อความนี้ด้วยความจริงใจอย่างแท้จริง~^^
ว้าวว... ผม 20 แล้ว!! ผมรู้สีกว่ากำลังจะเป็นผู้ใหญ่แล้วล่ะ
ด้วยอายุและความคิดของผม...ผมสัญญาว่าจะเก่งขึ้นกว่าเดิมและเป็นแทยังที่มีความหวัง หรืออย่างน้อยผมจะลองและทำมันด้วยความพยายาม
เวลาที่ผมมองย้อนไปในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน ...ผมตระหนักว่า มันช่างควบคุมไม่ได้และก็เป็นทางที่บ้าบิ่น (มันแปลได้หลายอย่างอ่ะ ถ้าผิดมาแก้ให้ได้นะ)
แต่ผมก็ตระหนักว่าสถานะของผมมาจากความรักและความเชื่อใจที่ไม่มีวันหมดสิ้นของพวกคุณ
มันเป็นเพราะพลังของพวกคุณผมจึงสามารถสานต่อ/(ทำ)ความฝันของผมได้
ผมจะเป็นนักร้องที่ดีที่สุดที่ผมสามารถเป็นได้ ไม่ว่าหนทางมันจะบ้าคลั่งสักเพียงไหน ผมจะมุ่งหน้าทำมันต่อไป
ผมจะสวดภาวนาให้วันที่ 18 พฤษภาคมของทุกๆปี ผมสามารถที่จะร่วมฉลองวันนี้กับพวกคุณได้...^^
